This term we have learnt with "learning stations". This is a method of instruction in which we sit in small groups and move through different activities.
You know we have read "The very hungry caterpillar", a famous book written by Eric Carle.
The hungry caterpillar ate different food every day of the week.
We have fed our hungry caterpillar. One apple, one cupcake, one leaf, one lollipop, one piece of pie, one strawberry, three plums, two plums, two strawberries... Feeding the caterpillar is very funny!
We also learnt about healthy and unhealthy food.
Fruits are healthy, so we can eat them everyday. Sweets are unhealthy, so we can't eat them everyday.
We like some food. Do you like everything?
Do you like salami?
Do you like cupcakes?
Do you like apples?
Do you like pickles?
Do you like plums?
Do you like ice cream?
This is caterpillar life cycle:
We watched it in real life at classroom:
And we made a lap-book about "The very hungry caterpillar":
