 Hello!! This week we learnt the new sound /c/ /k/. Charlie came to our classrooms with castanets!! It was so much fun!!

He also brought a kite, so we danced around the class while singing a song. AWESOME!!!😀😀

WE CELEBRATE HALLOWEEN

In English-speaking countries, children dress up for Halloween 🎃

We have learn this song, where we can see some different costumes: witch, ghost, cowboy, pirate, monster, spider and bat.

Caillou also chooses a costume for Halloween.

Besides, we made a ghost and a monster to decorate in Halloween.

First, we punched.

Then, we pasted paper for the eyes 👀, mouth 👄, teeth...

Finally, we drew the monster's eye.

IT'S AUTUMN!

Leaves are falling down because it's autumn! 🍂 🍃 🌰

Caillou rakes red and yellow leaves.

We have made autumn leaves wreaths. First, we punched the circle.

Then, we coloured the leaves with crayons.

Later, we punched the leaves.

And finally, we pasted the leaves on the wreath with glue.

Very beautiful!

I EAT FRUIT!

WORLD FOOD DAY is held every year on October 16th.

When we have a mid-morning snack at school, we watch these songs about fruits.

DAILY ROUTINES

Hello everyone!

English teachers use some songs during the daily routines. Do you want to know them?

We sing this song to say 'hello' 👋 at the beginning of the class and to say 'goodbye' at the end of it:

During our morning routines, we use this song to say 'good morning' to every child in the classrooom ☝ Are we all? Or are there people at home today?

Then, teacher asks about feelings 😄 😢 😠 😫 We sing this song and say how we are today.

We look outside: how's the weather today? Is it sunny? ☀ Is it cloudy? ☁

We also learn the days of the week and the months of the year. What day is today?

Besides, we sing this song when we have to clean up the classroom.

And we sing this song when we walk in a line to go to playground, to classroom... 👫

Esta semana vamos a observar cómo se cubren los animales y sus partes. Después tendréis que decidir cuáles son las características de vuestro animal favorito. Para ello primero queremos que veáis el siguiente vídeo.

Ahora ya podéis hacer las fichas. Os recordamos que todas son orientativas y voluntarias y que fácilmente podéis hacerlas en un folio, no es necesario utilizar la impresora.

Nuestras semillas han crecido así. Las lentejas han sido las más rápidas en crecer,los garbanzos los segundos y por último las judías.Si queréis podéis mandarnos fotos de vuestras semillas.
The lentils were the fastest to sprout while the chickpeas came in second and the beans took the longest sprout.
